Personal Injury Overview
Personal injury or accidents can happen to anyone at any time in any place. Accidents can happen when you are at work, on the road, while on holiday or in public places. The statistics for 2016 have not been published yet but in 2015 there were 11,734 claims with a value of €268.45m. Of these 8,815 were motor related claims. If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident or experience personal injury, it may often be the case that you are not at fault, with any other party being liable or negligent. When the fault lies with someone else you are most likely entitled to make a personal injury claim to receive compensation.
Bringing personal injury claims against those liable for your accident can be a time consuming and arduous process. This is partly due to the circumstances of each incident being different. Secondly, if the correct processes are not followed from the outset, a claimant could find themselves being seriously under-compensated.
Regan Solicitors Dublin – Sharing Our Experience & Knowledge
We, at Regan Solicitors, are personal injury claims specialists who work with clients on a daily basis to ensure they receive the right compensation for any accidents that occur to them. We know that in today’s digital age, one of the first things that people do in the event of an accident is go online to research the steps they should take having been involved in an accident. Given our experience in the personal injury space we thought it would be useful to post a series of blog articles that provide individuals with guidance on what to do in the various situations that can arise.
Injury Topics We’ll Blog About
Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll publish a number of blog articles that inform individuals on the various types of accidents where claims may be possible and provide advice on the steps to take in these situations. Topics that will be covered include workplace accidents, various road accident scenarios and accidents that happen on holiday.
